Kæru nemendur í Tækniskólanum (English below)

 

Ég vona að þið hafið haft það gott í páskaleyfinu og mætið endurnærð í skólann á morgun miðvikudaginn 7. apríl en þá opnum við húsnæði okkar á ný.

Frá og með morgundeginum hefst á ný hefðbundið staðnám skv. stundatöflu. Í einhverjum áföngum verður kennslan þó flutt yfir á teams en þá munu viðkomandi nemendur fá sérstakan tölvupóst um það.

Ný reglugerð sem gildir til 15. apríl kveður á um að ekki megi fleiri en 30, að kennara meðtöldum, koma saman í rými. Sé ekki hægt að viðhafa 2 metra reglu skal nota grímu. Það er hins vegar svo að í Tækniskólanum er grímuskylda alltaf nema þegar matast er. Það er því mikilvægt að þið viðhafið ávallt a.m.k. 2 metra fjarlægð frá næsta manni þegar þið borðið því það verður ekki gert öðruvísi en að taka grímuna niður. Þá minni ég á mikilvægi þess að sótthreinsa borð og stólbak áður en kennslustund hefst. Þá ber að geta þess að meðan núgildandi takmarkanir gilda verður aðeins boðið upp á innpakkaðan kaldan mat í mötuneytum (pastabakka, samlokur o.s.frv.).

Það er undir okkur öllum komið að tryggja í sameiningu góðar sóttvarnir. Því bið ég hvert og eitt ykkar að viðhafa persónulegar sóttvarnir til hins ítrasta. Þannig getum við haldið skólastarfinu gangandi en það skiptir öllu máli. Við klárum þessa önn saman.

Dear students in Tækniskólinn

 

I hope you have had a good Easter break and will feel refreshed when we reopen tomorrow Wednesday April 7^th and you return to school.

Starting tomorrow, teaching will be on-site according to timetables. In some courses however, classes will be held remotely in Teams and you will receive an email if that applies to you.

A new regulation that is in effect until April 15^th states that no more than 30 people, including teachers, are allowed in the same location at the same time. If it is not possible to ensure at least 2 meters between persons, masks must be used. In Tækniskólinn however masks are always mandatory except while eating. It is important to always keep 2 meters from the next person while eating since masks must be removed to eat. I would also like to remind you of the importance of sanitizing desks and back-rests of chairs before classes start. Please note that while the current restrictions are in effect there will only be pre-packed lunches available in the cafeteria (pasta bowls, sandwiches etc.).

It is up to us to work together and to make sure that we always take the appropriate sanitary measures. I ask all of you to keep them in mind, practice the strictest sanitary measures and social distancing. This is essential to keeping the school open, which is our main priority. We will finish this term together.
